LICENSE POLICY CHANGE TO CC BY-SA 4.0 EFFECTIVE FROM VOL. 10 NO. 1

We would like to inform you that starting from Volume 10, Issue 1 (July 2025), Edupedia: Jurnal Studi Pendidikan dan Pedagogi Islam will officially change its publication license from the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) to the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).

This policy change reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting open access to scientific knowledge and encouraging broader collaboration.

The implications of this change are as follows:

  • All articles published starting from Volume 10, Issue 1 (July 2025) will be licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0.

  • Especially for articles published before Vol. 10 Issue 1 remain subject to the license stated within the article content, not the website display. Therefore, any CC BY-SA 4.0 label appearing on the website does not alter the original licensing status, and such articles remain licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0.

  • Authors submitting manuscripts for the July 2025 edition and beyond are deemed to have agreed to the use of the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

We believe this change will strengthen Journal of Edupedia's role in supporting open science and expanding the reach and impact of every article we publish.
