This study aims to determine effective learning the Book of Kailani regarding the improvement of reading and writing skills. The type of approach used is associative quantitative research because the type of research approach is to look at the relationship between variables X and Y. Meanwhile, the population in this study consists of all students from Al-Jami’ah School at the State Islamic University of Mataram, with a sample taken from Class A. The researcher employed two instruments for data collection: a test and a questionnaire. To analyze the data, a test technique was used. The learning outcome assessments included pretests and posttests in the form of multiple-choice questions. The data analysis techniques involved prerequisite tests, such as normality and homogeneity tests, followed by final data analysis. For the final analysis or hypothesis testing, the researcher used a t-test. The hypothesis test applied in this study was an independent sample t-test. The results of the t-test, using the SPSS application, showed a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the hypothesis that the Kailani Book Learning method is effective in improving reading and writing skills is accepted, while the hypothesis that studying the Kailani Book is not effective in improving reading and writing skills is Rejected.
