Publication Ethics

Al-Idarah Journal is an official scientific publication that publishes written works of thought on aspects of Islamic economics, management and business, both in the form of field research results and literature studies that have never been published. This scientific code of ethics statement is a joint statement from all parties involved in the research journal publication process, including managers, editors, peer reviewers and authors. This scientific publication code of ethics statement is based on the Regulation of the Head of LIPI Number 5 of 2014 concerning the Code of Ethics for Scientific Publications. Scientific publication ethics uphold three ethical values ​​in publication, namely (i) Neutrality, which is free from conflicts of interest in managing publications; (ii) Justice, which is giving authorship rights to those entitled as authors/writers; and (iii) Honesty, which is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism (DF2P) in publication. To avoid plagiarism, every manuscript submitted will be further checked using the plagiarism checker application, namely Turnitin.

Journal Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Determine the journal name, scientific scope, sustainability, and accreditation submission as well as sustainability of accreditation ranking;
  2. Publish journals regularly;
  3. Determine and determine editor membership;
  4. Conduct a review of journal policies and submit them to authors/writers, editorial boards, peer reviewers;
  5. Create guidelines for rules and ethical behavior for editors and peer reviewers;
  6. Respect confidential matters, both for contributing researchers, authors/writers, editors, and peer reviewers;
  7. Ensure the availability of funding sources for the sustainability of journal publication;
  8. Build a network of collaboration between research institutions and related agencies.

Editor's Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Implementing a journal publishing process to ensure the quality of written works;
  2. Making and delivering corrections, clarifications, and apologies to authors when necessary;
  3. Being responsible for the style and format of writing scientific papers, while the content and all statements in the written work are the responsibility of the author;
  4. Conducting periodic internal evaluations of the quality of scientific journals.

Duties and Responsibilities of Bestari Partners

  1. Reviewing written works and submitting the results of the review to the editor, as a basis for determining the suitability of a written work for publication;
  2. Providing suggestions, input and positive recommendations for scientific written manuscripts;
  3. Maintaining the author's privacy by not disseminating the results of corrections, suggestions and recommendations for a manuscript.

Duties and Responsibilities of Authors

  1. Ensure that those included in the list of authors have met the criteria as authors;
  2. Collectively responsible for the work and content of the article including methods, analysis, calculations, and details;
  3. Declare the source of resources (including funding), both directly and indirectly;
  4. Respond to comments made by peer reviewers and the editorial board in a professional, scientific and timely manner;
  5. Inform the editor in writing if you will withdraw your paper.
