ADOPSI NILAI FILOSOFIS NAMA SANTRI DALAM KERANGKA MEANING OF LIFE SEBAGAI KONTEN BIBLIOKONSELING

Abstrak

Meaning of life is an individual's way of interpreting life, with the existence of meaning of life individuals will be able to interpret life well and meaningfully. This study reveals the philosophy of the name santri which is adopted as a framework for the meaning of life and then used as bibliocounseling content. The research method used is a descriptive method using content analysis techniques (content analysis). Content analysis was carried out on a book entitled Peradaban Sarung Veni, Vedi, Santri written by Ach. Dafir Zuhry in 2018. Supporting data in this content analysis uses literature from books or journals related to the philosophical study of the name Santri and the meaning of life. The results of the content analysis found five meanings of the word santri, namely santri is a combination of the Arabic letters Sin, Nun, Ta ', Ra' and Ya', each of which has its own meaning Sin means Salik ilal-Akhirah (taking the path to the afterlife). Nun means Na-ib 'anil-Masyayikh (successor of the teachers). Ta’ means Tarik ‘anil-Ma’ashi (leaving sin). Ra’ is an acronym for Raqhib ilal-Khayr (always desiring goodness). Ya’ is an abbreviation for Yarjus-Salamah (optimistic about salvation). The five meanings of the philosophical word santri are then adopted as a framework for the meaning of life and then used as bibliocounseling content.
