PENYULUH AGAMA SEBAGAI AGEN MODERASI BERAGAMA STUDI KASUS DI KECAMATAN ROGOJAMPI KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

Abstrak

Indonesia has a variety of religions, as religious people certainly long for a harmonious and harmonious life. Harmony and harmony between religious people can only be realized if each person has a moderate attitude. The purpose of this study is to describe religious instructors as agents of religious moderation, a case study in Rogojampi District, Banyuwangi Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method with a case study research type. While the data sources are obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. Then the data is analyzed descriptively through data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study show the role of religious instructors as follows; first, as a medium for conveying messages, second, providing socialization about religious moderation, third, maintaining the religious attitudes of the community, fourth, building perceptions of religious tolerance in the community, and fifth, overcoming radicalism.
