The limited use of digital media in community-based Qur’an education highlights the need for innovative learning approaches. This community service program aimed to strengthen Qur’an reading literacy through educational animation and social media communication. Using a participatory community engagement approach, the program involved Telkom University, PT Safwan Berkah Indonesia, and Qur’an learning communities in Bandung, Indonesia. The implementation comprised five stages: (1) identifying community needs through observation and stakeholder discussions; (2) developing animated educational content focusing on makharijul huruf; (3) implementing animation-based learning activities and introducing social media as an educational platform; (4) providing training and assistance to community partners; and (5) evaluating activities through participant feedback and satisfaction questionnaires. The program involved 30 participants across two activities at TPA Masjid Al-Istiqomah and PT Safwan Berkah Indonesia. The findings indicate positive participant engagement and acceptance of animation-based learning. Among the 29 survey respondents, 93.1% strongly agreed that the materials met their needs, and 96.6% strongly agreed that the organising committee provided satisfactory services. The program produced reusable educational animations and demonstrated the potential of collaborative digital communication to support community-based Qur’an education.
