PLAYDOUGH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTORIK HALUS ANAK USIA DINI

based on the background of the lack of learning media in stimulating the defelopment of children’s fine motor skills, it is necessary to carry out several stimulations that lead to the development of fine motor skills in early childhood. The purpose of this study was to determine the result of activities to improve fine motor skills in early childhood with playdough media. The type of research used is classroom action research with two cycle step procedure, starting with pre-cycle, cycle I, and II. Both cycles consisting of four stage: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were children aged 5-6 years. The method of implementing playdough is to coordinate between the eyes and hands , make playdough in a guided manner, squeeze playdough media, pick up playdough media, make playdough in various shapes, insert objects into molds, remove objects in containers, make playdough independently. The result of cycle I obtained 50% and cycle II which is 83,3% based on this study is an increasein fine motor skills of early childhood through playdough playing activities.
