Keywords:
Inflation, BOPO, CAR, ROA, Sharia BankingAbstract
This research aims to analyze the effect of inflation, operational costs on operating income (BOPO), and capital adequacy ratio (CAR) on return on assets (ROA) in sharia banking in Indonesia. The data used is secondary data obtained from Islamic bank financial reports during a certain period. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression to identify the relationship between the independent variables (inflation, BOPO and CAR) and the dependent variable (ROA). The research results show that inflation has a significant negative effect on ROA, while BOPO has a significant negative effect, and CAR shows a significant positive effect on ROA. These findings have the implication that managing operational efficiency and capital adequacy is very important to increase the profitability of sharia banking, especially in facing inflation fluctuations in Indonesia.
