Optimalisasi Nilai-nilai Etika Ekonomi Islam untuk Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat

Abstract

The application of the principles of Islamic economic ethics among the coastal communities of Mimbo Sumberanyar is carried out by delivering goods in honest conditions, handing over fish to the land boss in intact condition, and not taking fish without the boss's knowledge. Using money for fuel oil in the right amount, and accepting the fish catch, whether small or large, with gratitude to Allah which is expressed in the sea picking event. However, the optimization of the value of honesty in the lives of the Mimbo Sumberanyar community seems lacking. This research method is a qualitative research with a live history/phenomenological approach, where researchers collect data through snowball sampling from several sources until reaching a saturation point when the information provided is similar. The results of the study show that the coastal communities of Mimbo Sumberanyar apply a good work ethic, not only focusing on the sea but also working hard in making nets, farming, and other sectors. They also pay zakat, perform prayers, fast, feel sufficient, and attend ta'lim assemblies. However, in the practice of honesty, there are still shortcomings due to fraud in weighing fish.
