METODE BERCERITA SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN ISLAM BAGI ANAK USIA DINI

The purpose of this article is to describe the storytelling method in Islamic education for early childhood, including the various methods and media used, types of stories integrated with Islamic values, and the impact of storytelling on young children. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review method. The findings indicate that storytelling in Islamic education for early childhood is not merely a means of conveying universal messages, but also contains Islamic values that align with the developmental stages of children. Appropriate storytelling methods for early childhood include direct storytelling, storytelling using storybooks, puppets, props, and audiovisual media. Suitable storytelling media in Islamic education for young children include visual media, audio media, audiovisual media, digital media, social media, and pop-up books. Types of stories that are integrated with Islamic values include stories of the Prophets, stories of the Prophet's Companions, Islamic fables, Islamic folktales, and everyday life stories infused with Islamic messages. The impact of storytelling in Islamic education for early childhood includes enhancing natural understanding of Islamic values, fostering exemplary behavior through character identification, developing religious and social language, increasing emotional engagement in religious learning, and cultivating love for Islam from an early age.
