Abstract

The 2020 Social and Economic Survey (Susenas) conducted by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) found that 3.73% of infants under the age of five had received inappropriate parenting. This inappropriateness can also include the absence of a father's role or what is also known as fatherless. This study aims to examine and find out the handling efforts of the fatherless phenomenon that occurs in students of TK Negeri Pembina Moro, Karimun, Riau Islands. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, strengthened by observation, interviews and documentation studies. This study found that the fatherless phenomenon can lead to several behaviors that should not be possessed by early childhood, including: difficulty controlling emotions; having bad behavior; loss of trust in others or trust issues; and also delinquency.
